It’s been a while since I last wrote to you.

And as I was preparing this message, I thought that perhaps this was just the right time to reconnect…

Portrait of Sion Benchimol, professional coach, smiling while seated outdoors.

…because a lot can change in a year.

Life brings its share of surprises and joys, but also its challenges.

And like many of the people I work with, I’ve experienced changes myself over the past few years that have led me to reflect, make certain choices, and look differently at what I wanted for the future.

Perhaps that’s also why I felt like reaching out to you today to talk about change.

A job that once felt right can begin to lose its meaning.

A relationship can evolve.

A priority that once seemed essential can suddenly feel much less so.

And sometimes, without anything particularly dramatic happening, we simply realize that what felt right for us yesterday no longer feels quite right today.

These periods of transition can feel unsettling. We sense that something needs to shift, without always knowing exactly what. We may want change while still feeling attached to what we’ve built.

In moments like these, I believe two seemingly simple questions can be very powerful:

What still feels right for me today?

What no longer feels right for me?

Interestingly, the second question is often much easier to answer than the first.

We don’t always know exactly what we want. But we often know very clearly what we no longer want.

And that matters.

Identifying what no longer feels right can be the first step toward something different.

We don’t need to have all the answers right away.

Sometimes, simply beginning to ask ourselves the right questions is enough to create movement where things had begun to feel stuck.

That’s also a big part of what I love about my work as a coach: supporting people through these moments of transition, helping them step back, gain perspective, and find greater clarity.

So, let me turn the question back to you:

What has changed for you since the last time we spoke?

Perhaps something in your professional life, a personal project, a relationship, or simply the way you look at certain things today.

And if you feel that this might be the right time to talk about a change you’re considering, or a situation you’d like to see more clearly, I’d be very happy to reconnect and have that conversation with you.
